My mission is to help people achieve their full potential and take them where they want to be.
My Story
I was raised in Turku, Finland, where I enjoyed sports, studying, and spending time with friends. My passion for soccer and boxing taught me invaluable lessons about communication, working toward goals, and team building, which eventually led to my interest in leading and coaching teams and individuals to become high performers.
I have an adventurous spirit, and that's why I love traveling. I studied economics in Turku and went for an exchange program in Chengdu, China. I traveled all the way by train over a two-week trip through Russia, Mongolia, and China. I usually spend my holidays exploring new countries and cultures.
As a child, I realized that I had an incredible amount of stamina and was always ready to work hard. I never gave up. This attitude helped me in my career in consulting, which began in 2015 in Helsinki. I took immense satisfaction in being busy and productive, always striving to be the best and the hardest worker in the room. However, competing and achieving all the time started to take a toll on me. I became tired and anxious. I knew that I had to change.
I decided to set a goal for myself: make one person smile a day. I started praising others for their good work, lifting the mood, being supportive, listening, caring, and being positive. I stopped competing against others and started working together towards our goals. I wanted to help myself by helping others.
This change gave me extreme satisfaction. I could make someone's day a bit better, and the best thing was that I felt better too. Positivity and kindness became my core values, along with trust and loyalty. I learned that positivity does not always mean being happy; it means seeing opportunities even in difficult situations. I also discovered smarter ways of working.
In 2019, this experience inspired me to create Kevness, which led me down the path of coaching, inspiring, motivating, and helping others to reach their full potential.
